We've made it through the first selectionround of Hondsrock. Making it through the second selectionround depends on people voting for us. From June 15th till July 15th you'll be able to cast a vote on us which we hope you will.

Some sources, namely our bankaccount, have confirmed that the downpayment for some fresh new tee's has been made.
Also we're happy to point out an upcoming radio performance (seeing acoustic and Loss of Words don't match it won't be a live show though) at Radio Popov The Air. This station is affiliated with Stichting Popov and will be aired in Valkenswaard and it's surroundings.

The second band for our show in het Haags Pop Centrum has been confirmed. We'll be playing together with Nevermind.

This weekend Loss of Words is playing two shows. One at the Emergenza Festival in Tilburg's 013 and one in the Tune-Inn in Zevenbergen. We'll be playing in 013 around 21.00h. There will be 6 other bands playing that night including Syncardion and the first band will start around 19.00h. There is an entrance fee that evening though, you can purchace tickets from us for € 8,50 or at the door for around a tenner.
In Zevenbergen we, and our friends from Displayed, will start at 20.00h. We hope to catch you at either of those shows.
Update: A mysterious package has been delivered at the post office. Could it be our stickers? It'd better be!

Right about now we were planning on telling you we've stuck stickers onto mostly everything. The company that's supposed to print our stickers is seriously slacking though. Anyways new stickers are coming our way (ETA = unknown). Be sure to get some. They look brilliant on females and we'd be more than happy to stick one on yours!

Well that was good fun at Café Internationaal. We enjoyed ourselves and Displayed and Syncardion are great bands to play with. You got lots of options to see us play together again too. We're playing with Displayed on January 7th and January 20th. Syncardion will be joining us for a show on January 19th.

Small change of plans all. De Klomp in Ovezande was getting too small to host musiclovers so we've been offered a bigger venue namely De Burcht in Kwadendamme .

Well we've got some confirmations. The bands playing will be Delychees, Tenk and Loss of Words. We'll start at 20.00h and play till they kick us off of stage.
Now as mentioned before this show is not for us, it's not for the other bands it's for Zuidwester Jeugdzorg. Zuidwester Jeugdzorg gives children with broken homes a shot at having the life we'd all want to have ourselves. Now this isn't gonna happen all by itsself.
We'd like to raise some money for this cause. Hence we've got a voluntairy entrance fee. Every cent we're gonna make this evening is going to Zuidwester Jeugdzorg. It's a cause worth supporting and we hope you all think so too.

Wanna Move Again
Remember the Wanna Move festival? That kinda turned into a Wanna Roof festival because of some proper showers. Well Zuidwester Jeugdzorg is still a cause worth supporting and thus Loss of Words, together with Delychees and one other bands (TBC), will have a benificiary concert in the

Well Tank86 filled in for us nicely. Now were on towards Three Tha Hard Way. Join us, the Leftovers and Circular in the boulevard this Saturday.

Due to personal circumstances we had to cancel our show at café Stageback this monday. Tank86 will be taking over though (thanks ladds!). So I recommend still going over! Some of us at least are... apparently the beer is tasty.

We'll be playing in Teteringen on the 25th of June around 17.30. Coming early does have it's advantages because other bands like Offlicense will be playing too!
Also it'd be a good idea to bring a properly filled wallet because this is a fundraiser for a youthcentre built by the Zuidwester.

Juli 1st when we'll be playing in café The Oldtimer in Rotterdam we'll be accompanied by PokerFace.

Last weekend we recorded our new songs at Studio 195. And even if I say so myself; damn that went well! In about two weeks we're gonna get the final mix and after that it's time to spread some copies. Be sure to get your hands on one! We hope to have some ready by the end of june. Damn we're getting nervous! Less than two weeks left before we hit the studio.
Three tha hard way edition #1 was good fun. For all of you that missed all the cool bands be sure not to miss the second edition with yours truly (that means us), the Leftovers and Circular.

Small FYI: We've got no shows this month. Which is a good thing really, seeing we are focussing about 200% (maybe more) on the MCD which is gonna be recorded at Studio 195 at the end of this month. Also we're trying to sort some nice merch. Lets hope we'll succeed.

We've just had a talk with David Gonzalez from Gonzo Studio. Gonzo Studio supports bands and music in general in a non commercial way. Give the site a peak, it's worth a look. Especially if you are in a band yourself!
Loss of Words will be playing together with Circular and the worldfamous Leftovers in Rotterdams Baroeg on October 8th. Apparently evil people are trying to close down the Baroeg. This festival is to support the Baroeg. Be there and support it together with us, the other bands and Gonzo Studio.

Our site experienced a short period of downtime due to some small probs with our host (which they sorted properly). Anyways some of the emails you might have sent on the 26th, 27th or early 28th did most likely not arrive, so if you could resend them that would be great. But now back to business. Well that was quite the weekend. We played at Beastie Bas' birthdayparty on Saterday and in the Mezz Café on Monday. I don't remember much between those two dates... so I guess it was good fun.

Enemy Ground won't be joining the Three tha hard way festival afterall. But no problem there cos we've got some stuff left up our sleeves.

As promised a bit back some more information about the "Three tha hard way" festival. It will be held on May 13th, June 10th and July 8th in de Boulevard, Breda. Loss of Words will be playing the second edition together with the Leftovers and Circular. The first edition will have the bands Dark Intentions, Fluff and Encircled. The third and final of the three editions will bring you Otis, Aendo and Enemy Ground. All three editions will be worth your while as cool bands will be providing a free rockin' evening the hard way!

Any changes or updates will be given as we get news of em.

For all that are looking for a proper way to spend easter... POB invented the POBparade. The 16th and the 17th of April Breda will be filled with good bands. Go have a peak. It beats spending easter at intratuin with the missus for sure!

Playing in Heartbreak was... errrm... different. A couple of bands were supposed to compete for a place on Mosselrock. It turned out to be 3 bands playing cos the coppers shut it all down due to some bureaucratic BS. I guess Body Count did have a point afterall. We are absolutely clueless as to when we'll hear the results, when we do know we'll drop yall a line.

CD-Update. As mentioned before we're going to record 7 songs on 26/27/28th of May. The record will be called "Resist!" and it'll containt the following songs (in random order) The Eve of Self-Destruction, Unfair Judgement, Silent Assassin, I'm Loathin' It, City of Ash, As the Grave & Narrow Minds Think Alike. For everyone that doesn't have a clue which song is which... we'll be happy to explain it to you this sunday in Heartbreak café in Goes at around 15.30h.

Rumours proved to be accurate. Loss of Words will be hitting Studio 195 at the end of May. If all goes well we'll have 7 songs fully mixed and ready to distribute this summer.

We're taking it to the next level at the Emergenza festival. We'll be playing the semi-finals on the 7th of April at 22.00. Again it's votes from the audience that decide if we go through to the Benelux finals or not. We hope we can count on your support. Rumour has it that Loss of Words is going to record 7 of their songs at the end of May. But then again that might just be a rumour.

Bribing the people at Emergenza worked out. We're through to the semi finals. The show will be (unless I am mistaken) on a saturday at the start of April. So that'll make it the 8th. Thanks for all that showed up and supported us.

We found our drummerboy again. He got stuck in Gambia after wrecking his airplane. We've sent him to Tilburg yesterday... just to make sure he'll be there for our show thursday the 12th of Januari. Hope to see you all there too!

Next show will be Januari 8th. We'll be playing in the Mezz Café in Breda. Our opening act was going to be Last Breath Denied. Circumstances didn't allow them to play with us. Luckily we found Displayed willing to rock with us. Everyone that can afford the terribly high entrancefee of € 0,- is more than welcome.

Also we're happy to point out an upcoming radio performance (seeing acoustic and Loss of Words don't match it won't be a live show though) at Radio Popov The Air. This station is affiliated with Stichting Popov and will be aired in Valkenswaard and it's surroundings.

15-Jan-07	This weekend Loss of Words is playing two shows. One at the Emergenza Festival in Tilburg's 013 and one in the Tune-Inn in Zevenbergen. We'll be playing in 013 around 21.00h. There will be 6 other bands playing that night including Syncardion and the first band will start around 19.00h. There is an entrance fee that evening though, you can purchace tickets from us for € 8,50 or at the door for around a tenner. In Zevenbergen we, and our friends from Displayed, will start at 20.00h. We hope to catch you at either of those shows. Update: A mysterious package has been delivered at the post office. Could it be our stickers? It'd better be!
08-Jan-07	Right about now we were planning on telling you we've stuck stickers onto mostly everything. The company that's supposed to print our stickers is seriously slacking though. Anyways new stickers are coming our way (ETA = unknown). Be sure to get some. They look brilliant on females and we'd be more than happy to stick one on yours!

Seeing the next couple of days/weeks will be filled obligatory visits and the likes we might as well do this now: We wish our friends, fans, family a wonderfull X-mas and a great 2007. 18-Dec-06	Well that was good fun at Café Internationaal. We enjoyed ourselves and Displayed and Syncardion are great bands to play with. You got lots of options to see us play together again too. We're playing with Displayed on January 7th and January 20th. Syncardion will be joining us for a show on January 19th. The Leftovers are joining us and Displayed on January 7th too! Hope to see you lot at one (or all!) of these shows.

30-Sep-06	More info about Wanna Move Again on October 4th. Well we've got some confirmations. The bands playing will be Delychees, Tenk and Loss of Words. We'll start at 20.00h and play till they kick us off of stage. Now as mentioned before this show is not for us, it's not for the other bands it's for Zuidwester Jeugdzorg. Zuidwester Jeugdzorg gives children with broken homes a shot at having the life we'd all want to have ourselves. Now this isn't gonna happen all by itsself. We'd like to raise some money for this cause. Hence we've got a voluntairy entrance fee. Every cent we're gonna make this evening is going to Zuidwester Jeugdzorg. It's a cause worth supporting and we hope you all think so too. We hope to see you there! And bring yer moms wallet!

16-May-06	Damn we're getting nervous! Less than two weeks left before we hit the studio. Three tha hard way edition #1 was good fun. For all of you that missed all the cool bands be sure not to miss the second edition with yours truly (that means us), the Leftovers and Circular.
09-May-06	Small FYI: We've got no shows this month. Which is a good thing really, seeing we are focussing about 200% (maybe more) on the MCD which is gonna be recorded at Studio 195 at the end of this month. Also we're trying to sort some nice merch. Lets hope we'll succeed.
01-May-06	We've just had a talk with David Gonzalez from Gonzo Studio. Gonzo Studio supports bands and music in general in a non commercial way. Give the site a peak, it's worth a look. Especially if you are in a band yourself! Loss of Words will be playing together with Circular and the worldfamous Leftovers in Rotterdams Baroeg on October 8th. Apparently evil people are trying to close down the Baroeg. This festival is to support the Baroeg. Be there and support it together with us, the other bands and Gonzo Studio.
28-apr-06	Our site experienced a short period of downtime due to some small probs with our host (which they sorted properly). Anyways some of the emails you might have sent on the 26th, 27th or early 28th did most likely not arrive, so if you could resend them that would be great. But now back to business. 10-apr-06	As promised a bit back some more information about the "Three tha hard way" festival. It will be held on May 13th, June 10th and July 8th in de Boulevard, Breda. Loss of Words will be playing the second edition together with the Leftovers and Circular. The first edition will have the bands Dark Intentions, Fluff and Encircled. The third and final of the three editions will bring you Otis, Aendo and Enemy Ground. All three editions will be worth your while as cool bands will be providing a free rockin' evening the hard way! Any changes or updates will be given as we get news of em.

Also we'd like to point out the "Three tha hard way" festival which has been organised by Dark Intentions, P.O.B. and us. It will take place on May 13th, June 10th and the 8th of July. Be there. 20-feb-06	Playing in Heartbreak was... errrm... different. A couple of bands were supposed to compete for a place on Mosselrock. It turned out to be 3 bands playing cos the coppers shut it all down due to some bureaucratic BS. I guess Body Count did have a point afterall. We are absolutely clueless as to when we'll hear the results, when we do know we'll drop yall a line.
17-feb-06	CD-Update. As mentioned before we're going to record 7 songs on 26/27/28th of May. The record will be called "Resist!" and it'll containt the following songs (in random order) The Eve of Self-Destruction, Unfair Judgement, Silent Assassin, I'm Loathin' It, City of Ash, As the Grave & Narrow Minds Think Alike. For everyone that doesn't have a clue which song is which... we'll be happy to explain it to you this sunday in Heartbreak café in Goes at around 15.30h.
15-feb-06	Rumours proved to be accurate. Loss of Words will be hitting Studio 195 at the end of May. If all goes well we'll have 7 songs fully mixed and ready to distribute this summer.
13-feb-06	We're taking it to the next level at the Emergenza festival. We'll be playing the semi-finals on the 7th of April at 22.00. Again it's votes from the audience that decide if we go through to the Benelux finals or not. We hope we can count on your support. 16-jan-06	Bribing the people at Emergenza worked out. We're through to the semi finals. The show will be (unless I am mistaken) on a saturday at the start of April. So that'll make it the 8th. Thanks for all that showed up and supported us.
10-jan-06	We found our drummerboy again. He got stuck in Gambia after wrecking his airplane. We've sent him to Tilburg yesterday... just to make sure he'll be there for our show thursday the 12th of Januari. Hope to see you all there too!
02-jan-06	Next show will be Januari 8th. We'll be playing in the Mezz Café in Breda. Our opening act was going to be Last Breath Denied. Circumstances didn't allow them to play with us.
